Sophanny has been working with Dr. Thurmeier for what seems like forever. On her off time she keeps busy with her son and all her activities. She likes to listen to rap and R&B. She loves fashion and going out with friends for dinner.
Joanne comes to us from New Brunswick, where she graduated with her Dental Assisting Diploma in 2005. After working a few years in the Maritimes, Joanne headed west, settling in Calgary in 2008. Joanne is a focused and self-motivated person who takes a positive approach in everything she does.
Hannah is a Vancouver Island native who came to Calgary in 2012, after living in Northern California for twelve years. She graduated from the KDM Dental College in 2014 and since then has discovered a passion for anything surgical! She enjoys working with children and furthering her knowledge in all areas of dentistry. Hannah loves dancing in her car, cheering on the Vancouver Canucks, and hiking with her yellow lab Sophie. You'll also never see her turn down pizza with a glass of wine! Hannah would love to visit Finland, Scotland, and Italy to experience more of her heritage!
Please help us in welcoming our new Dental Assistant, Sarah! Sarah is a born and raised Calgarian. She attended Columbia College in 2015, and has been in the dental field ever since. In her free time, Sarah loves roller blading, spending time with her 3 rescue cats and travelling.
Sarah is passionate about the dental field and enjoys learning new skills each day. Having a positive attitude and a gentle manner are very important to her. Sarah would love to travel to the Bahamas in the future to go shark cage diving.
Pat comes to us from Saskatoon, after retiring from the University of Saskatchewan's College of Dentistry. Pat served as the College's Dental Assistant Supervisor for over 27 years. Pat was motivated to come to Calgary to be able to spend more time with her two daughters and grandchildren.
Dana became a dental assistant at age 18, graduating from SAIT. She has worked in many offices from Victoria, BC to Lethbridge to Aidrie. After a few years at home raising her little ones, Dana is excited to be assisting again. When not being a mom or a dental assistant, Dana can be found at Jazzercize where she used to be an instructor. She is excited to join the Panatella team!
Kaitlin comes to Panatella Dental from Edmonton where she worked in a prosthodontic specialty practice. It was there she found her love for helping people with their smile. In her spare time Kaitlin enjoys hiking in the mountains, spending time with family, and watching historical documentaries on Netflix.
