What are dental crowns?

Why would I need dental crowns?

In the second appointment, your dentist will confirm that the crown is the right colour and shape before cementing it into your mouth. 

How long do dental crowns normally last?
On average, a crown should last about 10 years provided you are practicing good oral hygiene. The exact durability of the crown depends on the individual as well as on the material that was used to create it.
